Reach Contacts
Search is only the first step for attracting new customers. The second, and more important one is reaching out to them successfully. The Caerus platform makes that easier
Create Outbound Email Template
Navigate to the email templates (opens in a new tab) section in the left sidebar and create a new template. You will need to select the inputs to the template, which should be "Prospect" and "Contact" for a sales email. The subject and configuration can be of your choosing.
Edit Template
Click into the newly created email template and use the editor to create your own email. A very important concept is the use of merge tags. Aas you recall we selected prospects and contacts as input to the template, this allows us to reuse the same template for many different contacts. In order to personalize the email, we still want to send a personalized email with the recipients first and last name, or maybe the company they work for somewhere in there. In order to do so, we have the concept of merge tags which allow you to add "variables" to your email that will be filled it based on the specific contact and prospect you're sending the email to.
Send Email
Send Single Email
Navigate to the saved prospect page (opens in a new tab), and click on the paper plane action. You will need to select the template to use and the sender email address. On the template dropdown, select your recently created template and click create to send the email.
Send Email Campaign
In some cases, you might want to send a batch of emails to multiple templates for example when trying to introduce customers to a new feature or trying to reach new prospects. In such scenarios, we want to easily send the email template to multiple contacts and track how many were delivered, opened, clicked on, etc. Using Email templates you can easily achieve that, simply navigate to the email campaign tab (opens in a new tab) and create a new campaign. Select the template of you choosing and the desired contacts to create the campaign.
Track Email Events
It would be great to know if the email was received, if it was opened by the recipient and maybe of they clicked on any of the links. You can track all that from the email details page (opens in a new tab), click on the email and you'll get all events.a
